A long-time computer enthusiast, Jean-Paul Florencio has always been attentive to evolutions in new technologies.
After beginning his career with Compose-Tel in 1988, where he designed and developed support tools, he joined Artifact two years later, where he worked developing 4D databases. He soon joined Agoratech where he became head of development.
With solid know-how of the technical subtleties of the sector, he enriched his experience by working with Techno Direct, where he was responsible for setting up the first mail-order sales system approved by Apple France.
In 1994, Jean-Paul moved to the next level and created Power Box, specialized in nomadic computer tools. Seeing future trends, he was the first importer of the Palm Pilot in France in 1995.
In 1997, he founded Intego, which later became the leader in security and privacy protection software for Mac. He sold Intego in 2007 and founded Damabia.
